HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1957-05-09 NECESSITY SECTION 36 Page 2853 MINUTES OF THE PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE PURPOSE OF DETERMINING THE NECESSITY RELATivi TO STREET LIGHTING IN PORTION OF SECTION 36, CITY OF LIVONIA. The Public Hearing for the purpose of determining whether or not to install street lighting in portions of the Southwest 1/4 and the Southeast 1/14 of Section 36 and in the North 1/2 of Section 36 of the City of Livonia, was called to order by the President of the Council at 7:55 P. M., May 9, 1957,, at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road. The following members of the Council were present: Austin T. Grant, Peter A. Ventura, Sydney B. Bagnall and Rudolf R. Kleinert. Absent: Frank O'Neill, John T. Daugherty and David L.Jones. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 31, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Pro- cedure", and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with said Ordinance, the Public Hearing was declared open for comments. Statements by interested parties present were heard and given due con- sideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk. The President declared the Public Hearing duly adjourned at 8:29 P. M., May 9, 1957. e Clark, City Clerk
