HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1956-07-30 NECESSITY ROSDALE Page 2448 PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE PURPOSE OF DETERMINING THE NECESSITY OF RESURFACING CERTAIN STREETS IN ROSEDALE GARDENS SUBDIVISION August 22, 1956 The Vice President of the Council announced that, pursuant to a resolution adopted by the Council on July 30, 1956, the hour of 9:30 o'clock P.M., having arrived, a Public Hearing would be held on the question as to whether or not to resurface certain streets in Rosedale Gardens Subdivision as follows: Hubbard Road From Plymouth Road to West Chicago Road Cranston II It It U Blackburn IItt II It II II It Ingram II II II it II Berwick it II It II It Auburndale I, tt MelroseIt It It It It tt 11 Arden It It II II It U II All of such streets being in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 34, City of Livonia, Wayne County, Michigan. The cost of which will be defrayed by special assessment under Ordinance No. 31, as amended. Notices of such hearing were mailed to interested parties under date of August 9, 1956. Questions and comments made by residents were given due consideration and comments appear in a transcript of this Public Hearing. The following members of the Council were present at the Public Hearing: Frank O'Neill, Sydney B. Bagnall, David L. Jones and Peter A. Ventura. Absent: Austin T. Grant, John T. Daugherty and Rudolf R. Kleinert. Councilman Kleinert asked to be excused from participating in this Public Hearing because he resides Page 2449 in the proposed special assessment area. The Vice President declared the Public Hearing for the purpose of La determing the necessity to resurface certain streets in Rosedale Gardens Sub— division, located in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 34, closed at 11:35 P.M., August 22, 1956.
