CONSENT AGENDA
1. BLOCK PARTY: Andrea Barterian, re: to be held Saturday, August 25, 2007,
from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Shadyside Street, between Orangelawn and
West Chicago between the addresses of 9829 and 9810 Shadyside, with a rain
date requested of Sunday, August 26, 2007.
2. REQUEST TO PLACE SIGNS AT REFERENCED LOCATIONS: Marilyn
Quandahl, Timothy Lutheran Church, re: to advertise their annual Rummage
Sale scheduled for Friday and Saturday, July 13-14, 2007.
3. REQUEST TO WAIVE SECTIONS 8.32.070 AND 12.20.080 OF THE LIVONIA
CODE OF ORDINANCES, AS AMENDED: Dana M. Dziekan, Production
Coordinator, NPT Breast Cancer 3 -Day, LLC, re: to allow the playing of music
and announcements via speakers, as well as the erection and use of tents on
public land (Rotary Park), during their Breast Cancer 3 -Day Event/Walk which
will take place in Livonia from September 28 through September 30, 2007.
4. APPLICATION FOR MASSAGE APPRENTICE PERMIT: Brett Randall, in
accordance with Chapter 5.49 of the Livonia Code of Ordinances, as amended.
5. REAPPOINTMENT OF SAM CARAMAGNO TO THE ZONING BOARD OF
APPEALS: Thomas Robinson, Councilmember, re: for a three-year term, which
shall expire on July 12, 2010.

6. REQUEST TO APPROVE AN AMENDMENT TO THE 2005 COMPREHENSIVE
ROAD RECONSTRUCTION AND REHABILITATION CONCRETE PROGRAM
CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LIVONIA AND ORCHARD, HILTZ &
McCLIMENT, INC. AND TO AUTHORIZE AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION
AND EXPENDITURE: Engineering Division, re: for Professional Engineering
and Construction Engineering services in connection with the rehabilitation and
widening of Newburgh Road from Seven Mile to Eight Mile Roads, with the
possibility of the entire project being paid for by outside agencies.
7. REQUEST TO AMEND WAIVER PETITION: Planning Commission, re: in
connection with signage for Petition 2006-03-02-06 submitted by Community
Alliance Credit Union, which previously received waiver use approval by the City
Council- on May 10, 2006, to construct a financial institution with drive -up banking
services on property located on the south side of Plymouth Road, between
Newburgh Road and Jughandle Road (37401 Plymouth Road), in the Southeast
% of Section 30. (CR 212-06)
8. REQUEST TO EXTEND SITE PLAN APPROVAL: Planning Commission, re: in
connection with Petition 2006-03-08-07 submitted by General Properties
Company, L.L.C., on behalf of Sunset View Site Condominiums, which previously
received site plan approval by the City Council on April 26, 2006, to construct a
site condominium development on property located on the west side of Sunset
Avenue, between Eight Mile Road and Fargo Avenue (30250 Morlock Street), in
the Northwest % of Section 2. (CR 186-06)

9. PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE LIVONIA CODE OF ORDINANCES, AS
AMENDED: Department of Law, re: to Chapter 06 (Definitions) and Chapter 84
(Bicycles, Mopeds, Motorcycles and Similar Vehicles) of Title 10 to add
appropriate language to reflect current State law. (CR 127-07 and CR 301-06)
10. PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE LIVONIA CODE OF ORDINANCES, AS
AMENDED: Department of Law, re: to Section 040 of Title 13, Chapter 08
(Water Service Rates and Revenues) to provide for changes in the water service
consumption rates to become effective with the first billing on and after July 1,
2007. (CR 236-07)
11. PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE LIVONIA CODE OF ORDINANCES, AS
AMENDED: Department of Law, re: to Section 120 of Title 13, Chapter 20
(Livonia Sewage Disposal System) to provide for changes in the wastewater
disposal charge and industrial waste control meter charges to become effective
with the first billing on and after July 1, 2007. (CR 236-07)

12. PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE LIVONIA CODE OF ORDINANCES, AS
AMENDED: Department of Law, re: to Section 050 of Title 13, Chapter 28
(Industrial Waste Surcharge) to provide for changes in the industrial surcharge
rate to become effective with the first billing on and after July 1, 2007. (CR 236-
07)
13. BLOCK PARTY: Dorothy A. Hanlon, re: to be held Sunday, June 24, 2097, from
6:00 p.m. to 10:00 or 11:00 p.m. (pending report from Public Safety) on Ashurst,
between Five Mile Road and Coventry, with no rain date requested.
14. ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION PLACING SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS UPON
REFERENCED PROPERTIES WHOSE OWNERS HAVE NOT PAID CHARGES
CONNECTED WITH THE SEVEN MILE ROAD, FARMINGTON ROAD TO
MIDDLEBELT ROAD SIDEWALK INSTALLATION — SINGLE LOT
ASSESSMENTS: Engineering Division, re: same. (CR 135-07)
15. REZONING PETITION: Planning Commission, re: Petition 2007-02-01-01
submitted by Ronald W. Emling requesting to rezone property located on the
south side of Plymouth Road, between Newburgh Road and Eckles Road (39115
Plymouth Road), in the Southwest % of Section 30 from RUF to R-1 (Rural Urban
Farm — Y2 Acre Lots to One Family Residential — 60' x 120' Lots).
Public Hearing held on May 30, 2007.
NEW BUSINESS
16. REQUEST FOR APPROVAL TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN
SMART AND THE CITY OF LIVONIA: Department of Community Resources, re:
for the Municipal Credit Contract for the period July 1, 2006 to June 30, 2007,
with all Credits to be used for the Livonia Community Transit Program.
17. REQUEST TO SCHEDULE A CLOSED COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE
MEETING: Department of Law, re: for the purpose of discussing pending
litigation and attorney/client privileged communications with respect to Ford
Motor Company v City of Livonia.
