Communication from the Department of Finance, dated March 29, 2007, re: forwarding
various financial statements of the City of Livonia for the month ending February 28,
2007.
CONSENT AGENDA
REQUEST TO RENEW AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LIVONIA AND
THE TRAFFIC IMPROVEMENT ASSOCIATION (TIA): Office of the Mayor, re:
in the amount of $31,400 for the 2007 year, which is based on one-half of one
percent of the FY 05-06 ACT 51 gas -weight tax revenues, and which is a $500
decrease from 2006.
2. REQUEST FOR APPROVAL TO PURCHASE SIX (6) TOUGHBOOK TABLET
COMPUTERS: Livonia Fire & Rescue, re: to be used on conjunction with the
department's new EMS electronic patient care record (ePCR) system, which the
State mandates be in place by 2008. (CR 292-05)
3. REQUEST FOR APPROVAL TO PURCHASE GOLF COURSE EQUIPMENT:
Department of Parks and Recreation, re: of mowers and a greens roller for the
Fox Creek, Idyl Wyld and Whispering Willows Golf Courses utilizing State of
Michigan bid pricing.
4. AWARD OF BID: Department of Parks and Recreation, re: for seven (7)
treadmills, seven (7) ellipticals or cross trainers, three (3) recumbent cycles and
three (3) upright bikes for use at the Community Recreation Center.
5. AWARD OF BID: Water and Sewer Board, re: for one (1) Loader Backhoe for
use by the Water and Sewer Section of the Public Service Division.

6. AWARD OF BID: Public Service Division, re: for two (2) Trailer -Mounted Leaf
Collectors from funds budgeted for this purpose.
7. AWARD OF BID: Public Service Division, re: for Portable Toilet Services for the
2007 calendar year requirements.
8. REQUEST FOR APPROVAL OF THE 2007-2008 COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM ANNUAL ACTION PLAN AND
BUDGET: Livonia Housing Commission, re: for the Program Year of July 1,
2007 — June 30, 2008. (CR 100-07)
9. REQUEST FOR ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION ENDORSING THE
"HOUSING AMERICA 2007 CAMPAIGN": Livonia Housing Commission, re: an
education and awareness initiative resulting from the decline in federal resources
to enlighten public policymakers of the need to adequately house American
families.
10. PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 543, AS AMENDED:
Department of Law, re: in connection with the outdoor storage of raw and
recyclable paving materials at Nagle Paving Asphalt Recycling, located at 13301
Levan Road in the Northwest % of Section 29. (CR 648-03 and CR 840-99)
11. AWARD OF BID: Department of Parks and Recreation, re: construction of a
Shelter at Devon Aire Park.

12. REQUEST TO RENEW LEGISLATIVE CONSULTANT AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF LIVONIA AND JAMES H. KAROUB ASSOCIATES:
Department of Finance, re: in the amount of $18,000 for the period January 1,
2007, through December 31, 2007, which is a reduction of $6,000 from the
current annual fee. (CR 136-06)
N9W BUSINESS
13. REQUEST TO WAIVE THE NOISE ORDINANCE: Peggy Roberts, Executive
Director, AAA Crisis Pregnancy Center, re: to allow a live band to perform from
approximately 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at 16751 Middlebelt Road in connection
with a one -mile walk fundraiser scheduled for Saturday, May 5, 2007, to assist
women and families that find themselves in an unplanned pregnancy.
14. ACCEPTANCE OF DONATIONS: Livonia Public Library, re: of cash and other
gifts from various organizations and/or individuals to be used for the purposes as
designated by the donors.

15. REQUEST TO SCHEDULE A CLOSED COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE
MEETING: Department of Law, re: for the purpose of discussing pending
litigation and attorney/client privileged communications with respect to Kingsway
Landscaping, Inc. v City of Livonia, et al.
