1. APPOINTMENT OF A SUBSTITUTE MAGISTRATE FOR THE 16TH DISTRICT
COURT: 16TH Judicial District Court, re: Administrative Order No. 2126 appointing
James Joseph Jolly as Magistrate, pursuant to Public Act 16 of the Public Acts of
1976, MCLA Section 600.8501(2).
2. REQUEST TO ACCEPT QUOTATION FOR WORKERS' COMPENSATION
INSURANCE: Department of Finance, re: with Citizens Management, Inc. to
provide claims administration services and with Midwest Employers Casualty
Company to provide excess insurance coverage when losses from any one claim
reaches $750,000, for the period of December 1, 2014 to November 30, 2015.
3. REQUEST TO RENEW THE CITY'S LIABILITY AND PROPERTY INSURANCE
COVERAGE: Department of Finance, re: with the Michigan Municipal Risk
Management Authority (MMRMA) for the period from December 1, 2014 to
November 30, 2015.
4. SITE PLAN PETITION: Planning Commission, re: Petition 2014-09-08-11,
submitted by Autumnwood of Livonia, in connection with a proposal to construct
additions to the nursing home located on the east side of Middlebelt Road between
Lyndon Avenue and Five Mile Road (14900 Middlebelt Road) in the Northwest 1/4
of Section 24.

5. SITE PLAN PETITION: Planning Commission, re: Petition 2014-09-08-13,
submitted by LPR Land Company, in connection with a proposal to remodel the
exterior of the nine -story independent senior housing facility, known as William W.
Brashear Tower, located on the west side of N. Laurel Park Drive between Six Mile
Road and University Drive (17841 N. Laurel Park Drive) in the Southeast 1/4 of
Section 7.
6. PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE LIVONIA CODE OF ORDINANCES, AS
AMENDED: Department of Law, re: to Section 020 (d) of Title 15, Chapter 51
(Vacant and Abandoned Structures) in order to lengthen the time before a
residential structure is classified as vacant and abandoned from being unoccupied
for twenty-eight (28) days to at least ninety (90) days.
7. PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE LIVONIA CODE OF ORDINANCES, AS
AMENDED: Department of Law, re: to Section 050 (c)(4) of Title 2, Chapter 04
(City Council) in order to regulate the total amount of time used per individual in
audience communication, including time before the start of the meeting and after
the last agenda item has been heard.
