REQUEST TO APPROVE PURCHASE: Department of Community Resources, re: of two (2) propane conversion kits to retrofit two (2) 2012 Ford E-450 cutaway buses from budgeted funds. 8. REQUEST TO LOCATE A PORTABLE BATCH PLANT ON CITY PROPERTY LOCATED ON GLENDALE STREET: Public Service Division, re: requested by Florence Cement Company for the purpose of producing concrete for MDOT Contract No. 82609-11364, for the reconstruction of Newburgh Road, at Churchill High School and from Five Mile Road to Laurel Park Drive for approximately four (4) months with conditions. 9. REQUEST TO AUTHORIZE ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION AND EXPENDITURE: Water and Sewer Board, re: to enable payment in the amount of $100,636.00 to the contractor, D’Angelo Brothers Inc., for labor and additional materials necessary to perform emergency water main repair on Farmington Road south of I-96 from budgeted funds. 10. ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSE TO COUNCIL RESOLUTION 189-12: Department of Law, re: request to amend the Livonia Code of Ordinances to ban synthetic marijuana. UNFINISHED BUSINESS 11. ROLL CALL: Proposed Amendment to Zoning Ordinance No. 543, as amended: Department of Law, re: Petition 2012-03-01-02 submitted by Kordoba, L.L.C./Masri Orthodontics to rezone a portion of the property located on the east side of Levan Road between Lyndon Avenue and Five Mile Road (15230 Levan Road), in the Northeast ¼ of Section 20, from C-1 to OS (Local Business to Office Services). (First Reading given by Councilmember Brandon Kritzman) 12. PROPOSED RESOLUTION REGARDING PERSONAL PROPERTY TAX: Office of the Mayor, re: same. 13. ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION PLACING SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS UPON REFERENCED PROPERTIES WHOSE OWNERS HAVE NOT PAID CHARGES CONNECTED WITH THE 2011 SIDEWALK PROGRAM, CONTRACT 11-G, SINGLE LOT ASSESSMENTS: Office of the Treasurer, re: same. (CR 77-12) Agenda for the Regular Meeting of June 18, 2012 3 UNFINISHED BUSINESS 14. PROPOSED SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENT PROJECT: Engineering Division, re: that will involve the rehabilitation of approximately 5,000 feet of sanitary sewer and 600 manholes and disconnections of approximately 25 illicit connections to the sanitary sewer system. The City is proposing to fund the project with money collected from user charges. The total project costs are estimated at $3,600,000. The estimated costs to the user equates to an increase of $0.05 per sewer building unit. Adverse impacts of the proposed project include temporary construction related impacts such as short term traffic disruptions, noise and dust. Public Hearing held June 6, 2012. 15. APPLICATION TO TRANSFER A PREVIOUSLY APPROVED INDUSTRIAL FACILITIES EXEMPTION CERTIFICATE:Richard A.
