8. PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE LIVONIA CODE OF ORDINANCES, AS
AMENDED: Department of Law, re: to Section 050 of Title 9, Chapter 32
(Alcoholic Liquor), regarding ordinance language which currently allows police
officers to require minors to submit to preliminary breath tests (PBTs) based
upon reasonable suspicion that a minor has consumed alcoholic liquor.
9. REQUEST TO PLACE SIGNS AT REFERENCED LOCATIONS: Kimberly
McHugh, Senior All Night Party Committee, Clarenceville High School, re: to
advertise a Garage Sale they will be holding on Saturday, February 28, 2009,

12. REQUEST TO PURCHASE TWO VEHICLES UTILIZING THE STATE OF
MICHIGAN BID PRICING: Inspection Department, re: the purchase of two (2)
2009 Ford Escape SUV’s for Ordinance Enforcement/Sanitation from budgeted
funds.
13. REQUEST TO AMEND COUNCIL RESOLUTIONS 518-08 AND 552-08: Livonia
Housing Commission, re: closing costs for the acquisition of six (6) Federal
Housing Administration homes.
14. REQUEST TO LEASE FIVE (5) ACRES OF THE CITY’S GLENDALE
PROPERTY: Public Service Division, re: by Mid-Michigan Recycling for a wood
processing and disposal service (including hauling off site) for a period of two (2)
years.
15. PROPOSED SPECIAL ASSESSMENT STREET LIGHTING PROJECT:
Department of Assessment, re: Churchill Manor Site Condominiums, located
west of Newburgh Road between Ann Arbor Trail and Joy Road in the Southeast
¼ of Section 31. (Establishment of Assessment Roll)

16. ACCEPTANCE OF DONATION: Livonia Public Library, re: of cash and gifts
from various contributors to be used for the purposes as designated by the
donors.
17. REQUEST TO SCHEDULE A CLOSED COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE
MEETING: Department of Law, re: to discuss pending litigation and
attorney/client privileged communications pertaining to Sandra Lane v City of
Livonia.
