NEW BUSINESS
1. BLOCK PARTY: Stacie Pettit, re: to be held Saturday, August 28, 2010, from
12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Louisiana, between Oregon and Kentucky, with no
rain date requested.
2. REQUEST TO WAIVE THE CITY’S NOISE ORDINANCE: Heather and Joe
Swingle, re: to allow a live band to perform from approximately 7:00 p.m. until
th
12:00 a.m. at 12332 Camden, in connection with their 4 annual gathering of
family and friends scheduled for Saturday, August 21, 2010.
3. PROPOSED ACQUISITION OF TAX FORECLOSED PROPERTIES:
Department of Law, re: to acquire three (3) houses (16425 Rougeway, 14200
Beatrice and 28115 Clements Circle S) for a total of $66,700.01, which includes
closing costs, through the Community Development Block Grant Program and
the Neighborhood Stabilization Program from proceeds from the sale of NSP
properties.
4. SITE PLAN PETITION: Planning Commission, re: Petition 2010-06-08-01
submitted by AZD Associates, on behalf of Livonia Dermatology, in connection
with a proposal to construct a medical office complex consisting of two separate
buildings on property located on the west side of Farmington Road, between
Lyndon Avenue and Five Mile Road (14815 and 14801 Farmington Road), in the
Northeast ¼ of Section 21.
5. SITE PLAN PETITION: Planning Commission, re: Petition 2010-06-08-02
submitted by ANK Enterprises, Inc., in connection with a proposal to remodel the
exterior of the commercial center (Mid-Five Shopping Center) on property located
on the southwest corner of Five Mile Road and Middlebelt (29441-29583 Five
Mile Road), in the Northeast ¼ of Section 23.
