MUNICIPAL BUILDING AUTHORITY OF LIVONIA: Department of Finance, re:
the refunding and refinancing of the Municipal Building Authority bonds issued in
2001 for the Livonia Community Recreation Center
8 REQUEST FOR REFERRAL TO THE ENGINEERING DIVISION FOR A
REPORT AND RECOMMENDATION: Councilmember Taylor, re: thegrade
elevation of the new home being constructed next to Karen and Michael Zahn,
who reside at 20535 Osmus.
9 REQUEST TO APPROVE RENTAL ADJUSTMENT FOR CITY-OWNED

over the next four (4) years.
14 REQUEST FOR AUTHORIZATION TO PURCHASE ONE (1) REPLACEMENT
POLICE VEHICLE. Division of Police, re. from insurance proceeds received and
utilizing pricing obtained through the Oakland County consortium bid
15 REQUEST FOR ACCEPTANCE OF A 2006 UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT
OF JUSTICE — COMMUNITY ORIENTED POLICING SERVICES (COPS)
SECURE OUR SCHOOLS GRANT AWARD. Division of Police, re: in the
amount of$24,800 00, with the required 50% local matching funds to be provided
by the Clarenceville School District to purchase a Closed Circuit Television
(CCTV) Video Camera Security System for Clarenceville High School.

16 REQUEST TO APPROVE TRAFFIC SIGNAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CITY OF LIVONIA AND WAYNE COUNTY Engineering Division, re: on
Newburgh Road at Base Line due to intersection improvements, with Farmington
Hills paying the alteration cost and 25% of the maintenance and energy cost,
Wayne County paying 50% of the maintenance and energy cost and the City of
Livonia paying the remaining 25% of the maintenance and energy cost.
17 REQUEST TO APPROVE ADDITIONAL EXPENDITURE FROM THE
UNEXPENDED FUND BALANCE OF THE ROAD, SIDEWALK AND TREE
FUND Engineering Division, re to pay Orchard, Hiltz & McCliment for
additional work the City was able to do in connection with the 2006 Concrete
Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Program — Contract 06-C
18 SIGN PERMIT APPLICATION Planning Commission, re Petition 2006-08-SN-
02 submitted by Schoolcraft Commons, L.L.0 , requesting approval to construct
a business center sign adjacent to the 1-275 Expressway in order to identify the
College Park development located on the east side of Haggerty Road, between
Six Mile Road and Seven Mile Road, in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 7
19 SIGN PERMIT APPLICATION Planning Commission, re Petition 2006-08-SN-
04 submitted by TCF Bank, requesting approval for wall signage for the high-rise

20 REQUEST TO APPROVE SITE PLAN REVISION Planning Commission, re

AMENDED' Department of Law, re: Petition 2006-05-06-02 submitted by the
City Planning Commission pursuant to Council Resolution #252-06 and Section
23 01(a) of Zoning Ordinance No 543, as amended, to determine whether or not
to amend Section 8.07(a) of Article VIII, Section 9 03(j) of Article IX, Section
10 03(d) of Article X, and Section 11 02(i) of Article XI of Zoning Ordinance No
543, as amended, in order to reduce the minimum outdoor play area requirement
for child day care nurseries. (CR 498-06)
25 PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE LIVONIA CODE OF ORDINANCES, AS
AMENDED' Department of Law, re Petition 2006-06-03-01 submitted by Lori
Barnes requesting the vacating of a six foot (6') wide utility easement for the v.
purpose of installing a pool on property located on the west side of Francavilla
Drive, between Six Mile Road and Myron Drive (17417 Francavilla Drive), in the
Southeast % of Section 9, subject to the relocating of the affected public utility
equipment presently occurring within the subject easement area. (CR 472-06)
26 ROLL CALL. Proposed amendments to Zoning Ordinance No 543, as
amended, Department of Law, re. Petition 2006-06-06-03 submitted by the
Planning Commission pursuant to Council Resolution No 323-06 and Section
23.01(a) of Zoning Ordinance No 543, as amended, to determine whether or not
to amend Section 4 02 (Permitted Uses) and Section 4 11 (Uses Requiring a
Variance From the Zoning Board of Appeals) of Article IV in order to treat group
day care homes as conditional uses pursuant to changes necessitated by the
Michigan Zoning Enabling Act.
