9 REQUEST TO APPROVE DESIGNATION OF AUTHORIZED DEPOSITORIES
Department of Finance, re to allow the City to collect property tax payments and
water bills, as well as purchase Certificates of Deposit, at these financial
institutions
10 PURCHASE OF UNMARKED POLICE VEHICLES Division of Police, re
purchase of four (4) vehicles from the Federal Forfeiture Account, and waiver of
the sealed bid process based on the Police Department's association with three
bid/purchasing consortiums (the State of Michigan, Oakland and Macomb
Counties)
11 REQUEST TO APPROVE PROPOSAL OF JCIB TO HOLD AN IRISH
FESTIVAL AT GREENMEAD Department of Community Resources and the
Historical Commission, re on Saturday, September 23, 2006 from 11.00 a m to
9.00 p m and Sunday, September 24, 2006 from 9.00 a m to 6.00 p m. for a fee
of $3,000 00, along with profits from a food booth and the sale of advance
tickets
12 REQUEST FOR INFORMAL APPROVAL OF PROPOSED PROGRAM AND
TENTATIVE BUDGET FOR THE 2006-2007 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) PROGRAM Livonia Housing Commission, re so that
a second public hearing can be held on this matter, after which time a final 4.0
program and budget will be forwarded to Council for formal adoption
13 AWARD OF BID. Water and Sewer Board, re for one (1) Tandem Axle Dump
Truck.
14 AWARD OF CONTRACT Engineering Division, re for the paving and
installation of storm sewers in connection with the Pickford Avenue Special
Assessment District.
15 REQUEST TO APPROVE REVISED SITE PLAN John J Mahn, President,
Southeastern Michigan Management Company, re in connection with Petition
2005-07-08-04 to construct a site condominium development (James Towne
Condominiums) on property located on the north side of Five Mile Road, between
Inkster Road and Foch Avenue (27480 and 27486 Five Mile Road), in the
Southeast '/ of Section 13, which previously received Council approval on
November 14, 2005 (CR 538-05)
16 WAIVER PETITION Planning Commission, re Petition 2006-02-02-02
submitted by Michigan Reconditioning and Fleet Services requesting approval to
operate an automobile and truck repair facility on property located on the north
side of Glendale Avenue, between Stark Road and Fairlane Avenue (34550
Glendale Avenue), in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 28

17 SITE PLAN PETITION Planning Commission, re Petition 2006-01-08-02
submitted by Cade Investment, on behalf of Cade Meadows Site Condominiums,
requesting approval of the Master Deed, Bylaws and Site Plan in connection with
a proposal to construct a condominium development on property located on the
south side of Ann Arbor Trail, between Newburgh Road and Dowling Avenue
(36905 Ann Arbor Trail), in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 32
