Newburg United Methodist Church, re to advertise their Rummage Sale which
will be held on Friday and Saturday, May 2 and 3, 2003, respectively
2 REQUEST FOR CONSIDERATION OF THE CREATION OF A "WALL OF
HONOR" Council President Engebretson, re in the lobby of City Hall for
placement of photos of men and women currently serving in the Armed Forces
that are related to citizens of Livonia
3 FIFTH ANNUAL REPORT OF THE BOARD OF ETHICS Richard W McDowell,
Chairperson, re submitted pursuant to Section 2 200 070(D)(9) of the Livonia
Code of Ordinances, as amended, pertaining to business conducted in the 2002
calendar year
4 REQUEST TO EXTEND THE CONTRACT WITH WILCO, INC FOR AN
ADDITIONAL 12-MONTH PERIOD AND TO WAIVE THE CITY'S COMPETITIVE
BID PROCESS Livonia Housing Commission, re to provide lead-based paint
inspection services for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
program at the current contract rates (CR 161-02)
5 REQUEST TO ACCEPT FEMA (FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT
AGENCY) FY 2002 ASSISTANCE TO FIREFIGHTERS GRANT AWARD AND
GRANT AGREEMENT ARTICLES, AND REQUEST TO DESIGNATE THESE
FUNDS TO THE CAPITAL OUTLAY FIRE EQUIPMENT ACCOUNT Livonia
Fire & Rescue, re this shared grant (70% government portion and 30% City
portion) will be used to acquire two (2) training simulators (the "Fire Fighter
Survival" simulator and the "Swede Survival Mobile Flashover Training System")
to be used for training purposes in conjunction with surrounding jurisdictions as
well as the local community college
6 AWARD OF BID Livonia Fire & Rescue, re to supply uniforms and uniform
accessories for a period of two (2) years (May 1, 2003 through May 1, 2005)

7 REQUEST FROM THE MICHIGAN LIQUOR CONTROL COMMISSION TO
INVESTIGATE THE REQUEST FROM ROMACO OF MICHIGAN, LLC (d/b/a
Tony Roma's Restaurant) TO TRANSFER OWNERSHIP OF A 2002 CLASS C
LICENSED BUSINESS WITH OFFICIAL PERMIT (FOOD), SUNDAY SALES
PERMIT AND OUTDOOR SERVICE (ONE AREA) FROM DEAN'S PALACE,
INC Division of Police, re for the business located at 37716 Six Mile Road
8 PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, AS AMENDED.
Division of Police, re to amend Section 110 (Pets running at large prohibited) of
Title 12, Chapter 20 (Public Lands) to prohibit dogs, cats and all pets (with the
exception of service animals) in/on public parks and public lands during special
events.
9 REQUEST TO PROCLAIM FRIDAY, MAY 2, 2003, AS "ARBOR DAY" IN THE
CITY OF LIVONIA. Tree City Committee and Public Service Division, re in
commemoration of Arbor Day planned by the Tree City Committee at Botsford
Park adjacent to Botsford Elementary School at 1 00 p m. on May 2, 2003
10 REQUEST TO LEASE A PORTION OF CITY PROPERTY TO PLACE A
TEMPORARY CONCRETE BATCH PLANT Public Service Division, re:
requested by Six-S, Inc. for a period of approximately four (4) months (May
through September of 2003) in connection with a contract with Wayne County to 410
perform concrete roadwork on Seven Mile Road from Middlebelt to Inkster
Roads
11 ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSE TO COUNCIL RESOLUTION 79-03
Engineering Division, re the subject of the impact the possible rezoning of the
property located on the west side of Cavell Avenue between Five Mile Road and
Western Golf Drive in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 24 from RUF to R-2 would have
on storm water management in that area. (Petition 2002-10-01-14)
12. REQUEST FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF IMPROVEMENT BONDS
Engineering Division, re for the Boulder Pines single family cluster homes
development, to be located south of Seven Mile Road, east of Brookfield Avenue
(32405 Seven Mile Road), in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 10 (CR 241-02)

13 LANDSCAPING APPROVAL. Planning Commission, re in connection with
Petition 2003-01-08-02, submitted by Time Warner Cable, which previously
received site plan approval by the City Council on February 26, 2003, pursuant to
Council Resolution 73-03, for the office building located on the west side of
Farmington Road between Lyndon and Five Mile Roads (14525 Farmington
Road) in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 21

15 GREENBELT PETITION Planning Commission, re Petition 2003-02-GB-03
submitted by Randazzo Formal Wear requesting approval to substitute a
greenbelt for the protective wall as outlined in Section 18 45 of the Zoning
Ordinance, as amended, for property located on the south side of Plymouth Road
