benefit of reduced training costs by the S W.A T team and K-9 officers who
frequently utilize the facilities located at Camp Grayling, Michigan, with no
additional expenses or responsibilities to the City with the exception of paying a
$250 00 yearly membership fee
6 REQUEST FOR AUTHORIZATION TO EXPEND FUNDS IN THE CABLE
DIVISION'S RESTRICTED FUND BALANCE TO COVER THE EXPENSE OF

7 REQUEST TO APPROVE PROPOSED FEE SCHEDULE FOR DUPLICATING
TAPES OF CITY CHANNEL 8 PROGRAMS Department of Community
Resources, re in an effort to cover the cost of VHS tapes and sleeves,
equipment wear and tear and staff time, as recommended by the Cable
Television Commission
8 REQUEST TO REFER THE SUBJECT OF THE 2003 WATER AND SEWER
RATE INCREASES TO THE WATER, SEWER AND WASTE COMMITTEE.
Public Service Division, re to ensure that adequate time is allotted for review
and approval by the Water and Sewer Board prior to submittal to Council, due to
the delay in obtaining the wholesale rate changes from Wayne County
9 REQUEST TO REVISE COUNCIL RESOLUTIONS 610-02 AND 611-02 Public
Service Division, re to change the appropriations indicated in the resolutions
from the unexpended fund balances of Fund 203 (Local Street Fund) and Fund
202 (Major Street Fund) to the Road, Sidewalk and Tree Fund, as those
expenses were included in that account of the City budget. (Reference In
connection with engineering services for the 2003 Concrete and Asphalt
Pavement and Rehabilitation Programs )
10 REQUEST FOR RELEASE OF IMPROVEMENT BONDS, WITH THE
EXCEPTION OF THE GRADING AND SOIL EROSION CONTROL BOND 40

Division, re for the Rosati Industrial Park Subdivision, located on the west side
of Stark Road between Schoolcraft Road (1-96) and Plymouth Road in the South

12 SIGN PERMIT APPLICATION Planning Commission, re Petition 2003-02-SN-
02 submitted by The Hertz Corporation requesting approval of signage for the
commercial building located on the north side of Plymouth Road between
Farmington and Stark Roads (33910 Plymouth Road) in the Southeast of
Section 28
13 WAIVER PETITION Planning Commission, re Petition 2003-02-02-03
submitted by Jeff Williams, on behalf of Playworld Amusements, to conduct a
carnival sponsored by the Livonia Rotary Club consisting of amusement rides,
games and food concessions from April 3, 2003 through April 13, 2003, inclusive,
on property located on the south side of Plymouth Road between Viddlebelt
Road and Milburn Avenue (Wonderland Mall) in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 35

14 REQUEST FOR APPROVAL OF MASTER DEEDS, BYLAWS, LANDSCAPING
AND ENTRANCE MARKER Planning Commission, re in connection with Site
Plan Petition 2001-01-08-09 submitted by Ardmore Development, on behalf of
Springbrook Villas Condominiums and Springbrook Estates, for the condominium
and site condominium developments located on the east side of Farmington
Road between Seven Mile Road and Fargo (19810 Farmington Road) in the
West % of Section 3, which previously received Site Plan approval by the City
Council on October 23, 2002 per Council Resolution 580-02
15 SITE PLAN APPROVAL Planning Commission, re Petition 2003-01-08-01
submitted by the Italian American Club of Livonia in connection with a proposal
for signage and to expand the parking lot of the banquet facility located on the
north side of Five Mile Road between 1-275/96 and Hix Road (39200 Five Mile
Road) in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 18
16 REQUEST FOR AMENDMENT TO THE CLEAN MICHIGAN INITIATIVE
RECREATION BOND PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT PROJECT AGREEMENT
Department of Law, re to extend the completion date of the project (the Livonia
Community Recreation Center) (CR 54-02 and CR 230-01)
17 PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO ZONING ORDINANCE NO 543, AS
AMENDED Department of Law, re to bring the City's ordinances in compliance
with the Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act (RLUIPA), which
prohibits any land use regulation that treats a religious assembly or institution on
less than equal terms with a non-religious assembly or institution
18 PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE LIVONIA CODE OF ORDINANCES, AS
AMENDED Department of Law, re to amend Section 3 08 150A to revise the
maximum interest rate on installment payments to six percent (6%) in order to be
consistent with the City Charter (CR 678-81)
