2 PROPOSED LOT SPLIT Department of Assessment, re requested by

5 LANGUAGE PETITION. Planning Commission, re. Petition 2002-11-06-
05 submitted by the City Planning Commission, pursuant to Council
Resolution 601-02, and pursuant to Section 23 01(a) of Ordinance No.
543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, to determine whether or
not to amend Section 11 03(1)(1) of Article XI of Zoning Ordinance No.
543, as amended, with respect to Subsections a, b and c regarding open-
air business uses.
6 WAIVER PETITION Planning Commission, re. Petition 2003-09-02-19
submitted by Jon Massa requesting approval to operate an automobile
and light truck repair facility on property located on the south side of Eight
Mile Road between Merriman Road and Milburn Avenue (30759 Eight Mile
Road) in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 2
7 SITE PLAN PETITION. Planning Commission, re. Petition 2003-09-08-27
submitted by Rockford Construction, on behalf of Family Video, in
connection with a proposal to renovate the exterior of the building located
on the southwest corner of Newburgh and Ann Arbor Roads (37405 Ann
Arbor Road) in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 31

AMENDED. Department of Law, re Petition 2003-07-01-13 submitted by
Eric D Zylinski, on behalf of Apple Crest Dental P.L.C., requesting to
rezone property located on the north side of Seven Mile Road between
Bethany Road and Victor Parkway (37500 Seven Mile Road) in the
Southeast 1/4 of Section 6 from RUFC to OS (Rural Urban Farm — % Acre
Lots to Office Services).

11 PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO ZONING ORDINANCE NO 543, AS
AMENDEDDepartment of Law, re Petition 2003-06-06-04 submitted by
the City Planning Commission, pursuant to CR 312-03 and pursuant to
Section 23 01(a) of Zoning Ordinance No 543, as amended, to determine
whether or not to amend Section 18 50 of Article XVIII of Zoning
Ordinance No 543, as amended, in order to make various changes to the
Sign Ordinance.

12 PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO ZONING ORDINANCE NO 543, AS
AMENDED. Department of Law re Petition 2003-07-06-05 submitted by
the City Planning Commission, pursuant to CR 339-03 and pursuant to
41w Section 23 01(a) of Zoning Ordinance No 543, as amended, to determine
whether or not to amend Section 18 06 of Article XVIII (Nonconforming
Lots) of Zoning Ordinance No. 543, as amended, to define "Clear Majority"
at a specific percentage as it relates to certain circumstances under which
property owners can build on nonconforming lots without Zoning Board of
Appeals or City Council approval

13 PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO ZONING ORDINANCE NO 543, AS
AMENDED. Department of Law, re Petition 2003-07-06-06 submitted by
the City Planning Commission, pursuant to CR 340-03 and pursuant to
Section 23 01(a) of Zoning Ordinance No 543, as amended, to determine
whether or not to amend Sections 20 05(b) and (c) of Article XX of Zoning
Ordinance No 543, as amended, to require that approval of the Master
Deed must be obtained prior to the establishment of improvement bonds
in connection with cluster housing projects

14 PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE LIVONIA CODE OF ORDINANCES,
AS AMENDEDDepartment of Law, re. amendment to Section 010 of
Title 12, Chapter 16 (Parks and Playgrounds) in order to rename Botsford
Park to Harvey W Moelke Park, to update paragraph numbers 19, 40 and
41 to reflect current parcel numbers, to delete the reference to Whitman
Junior High School (which has been demolished), to substitute "Devon-
Aire Woods Park" in lieu of "Devonshire Park," to substitute "Edward H.
McNamara Bicentennial Park" in lieu of"Livonia Bicentennial Park," and to
rename "Kingsbury Park" to "Robert McCann Memorial Park" per CR 286-
01.
15 ROLL CALL. Request to repeal Vacating Ordinance Nos. 2576 and 2577
and to adopt new ordinances to comply with language requested by the
Wayne County Register of Deeds, Department of Law, re: Petition 2002-
07-03-07 submitted by Jeff and Natalie Kwiecinski and Petition 2002-07-
03-08 submitted by Jeff and Julie Locklear, both of which requested to
vacate the southerly five (5) feet of an existing 15 foot wide utility
easement on their properties located at 37720 and 37676 Northfield
Avenue, on the north side of Northfield Avenue between Newburgh Road
and Stonehouse Avenue, in the Southeast IA of Section 31.

become more progressive in traffic management/planning, which will
make Livonia a safer place to live in and travel through

19 REQUEST TO AMEND COUNCIL RESOLUTION NO 451-03, ADOPTED
AT THE REGULAR MEETING OF AUGUST 27, 2003 Office of the
Council, re. in order to revise Condition No 6 that pertains to the
Landscape Plan marked Sheet 1 of Petition 2003-05-08-12 submitted by
Leo Soave, on behalf of Cavell Woods Site Condominiums, in regard to
the construction of a site condominium development on the west side of
Cavell Avenue between Five Mile Road and Western Golf Drive, in the

NEW BUSINESS
20 ACCEPTANCE OF DONATION Livonia Fire & Rescue, re of a cash
donation made by Westborn Market to be used for the purposes as
designated by the donor
21 ACCEPTANCE OF GRANT Division of Police, re of a $5,000 00 Risk
Avoidance Program (RAP) Grant from the Michigan Municipal Risk
Management Authority to be used as reimbursement for approximately six
(6) of the forty-three (43) recently ordered X26E TASER®-less lethal
weapons.
