March 25, 2015
The meeting was called to order on March 25, 2015 at the Alexander Blue House at 6:30 p.m. This is a
voting meeting.
Present: Ken Bourgon, Deanna Brown, Mary Cambridge, Sue Daniel, Barbara Mansfield and Linda
Trewin.
Absent: Nancy Frye, Gary Pritchard and Sandi Pritchard.
Mary Cambridge presented the February, 2015 Treasurer’s report, which was placed on file.
Motion: 03-01 It was moved by Ken Bourgon and seconded by Deanna Brown that an additional
$300.00 be allocated to assist in the reupholstering of the chairs in the Bungalow. Motion carried.
Motion: 03-02 It was moved by Barbara Mansfield and seconded by Deanna Brown that an additional
$200.00 be allocated for reupholstery work for Shaw House items. Motion carried.
Motion: 03-03 It was moved by Linda Trewin and seconded by Mary Cambridge to continue working
with same contractor (Bongero Construction LLC) on the fence project. Motion carried.
Motion: 03-04 It was moved by Linda Trewin and seconded by Deanna Brown to accept the $5,000.00
grant from the Livonia Community Foundation and that the funds be used to replace the Eight Mile
fence. Motion carried.
Motion: 03-05 It was moved by Linda Trewin and seconded by Ken Bourgon to match the grant with
$5,000.00 from the Trust to replace the Eight Mile fence. Motion carried.
Motion: 03-06 It was moved by Ken Bourgon and seconded by Mary Cambridge to designate the grassy
area between the Print Shop and the small gravel parking lot of the Alexander Blue House for future
artifact storage buildings.
Motion: 03-07 It was moved by Linda Trewin and seconded by Mary Cambridge that an architect be
hired to begin the work on the Nankin Mill School. Motion carried.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:50 p.m.
The next meeting will be on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at the Alexander Blue House at 6:30 p.m.
