PUBLIC HEARING RE: REQUEST SUBMITTED BY
BRENDA JO BECK, MANAGER— PROPERTY AND PAYROLL TAX,
FORD MOTOR COMPANY, REQUESTING AN 1.F.E.C. (IDD #1)
On Monday, September 29, 2008, the above hearing was held at
the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to
order by Council President Toy at 6 30 p m Present: Don Knapp, Terry
Godfroid-Marecki, Joe Laura, and Laura Toy Absent: Brian Meakin, Tom
Robinson and James McCann
Council President Toy stated that this was a public hearing on the
question whether to approve the Application for Industrial Facilities Exemption
Certificate, submitted by Brenda Jo Beck, Manager — Property and Payroll Tax,
Ford Motor Company, for the acquisition and installation of new equipment at the
Livonia Transmission Plant at 36200 Plymouth Road located within the City of
Livonia Industrial Development District No 1
There were twelve (12) individuals present in the audience regarding this
matter
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due
consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the Office of the
City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 6 44 p m , on Monday,
September 29, 2008
