PUBLIC HEARING RE:
Petition No. 2003-07-01-13, submitted by Apple Crest Dental, PLC,
Petition No. 2003-08-01-14, submitted by Narcisa & Emmanuel Dan,
On Monday, November 17, 2003, the above hearing was held at the City
Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by
Council President Engebretson at 7 00 p m Present: Don Knapp, Val
Vandersloot, Linda M Dolan, Gerald Taylor, Joe Laura and Jack Engebretson
Absent: Maureen Miller Brosnan
Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance,
the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the
hearing date to those persons affected by the proposed change and all other
requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance have been fulfilled
Council President Engebretson stated that in accordance with the
provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan 1921,
as amended, the Zoning Act (M S.A. Section 5 2934, M C L.A. 125 584), as well
as Article XXIII of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of
Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relevant to
the following rezoning requests
1 Petition 2003-07-01-13 submitted by Eric D Zylinski, on behalf of Apple
Crest Dental P.L.0 , requesting to rezone property located a 37500 Seven
Mile Road located on the north side of Seven Mile Road between Bethany
Road and Victor Parkway in the S E 1/4 of Section 6 from RUFC to OS (Rural
Urban Farm — 1/2 Acre Lots to Office Services)
2 Petition 2003-08-01-14 submitted by Narcisa and Emanuel Dan
requesting to rezone property located on the north side of Schoolcraft Road
between Farmington and Brookfield Roads in the S W 1/4 of Section 22 from
RUF to R-1 (Rural Urban Farm — 1/2 Acre Lots to One Family Residential — 60'
x 120' Lots)

There were sixteen (16) individuals present in the audience on this matter
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due
consideration, a transcript of which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
The public hearing was declared closed at 7 59 p m , Monday, November
17, 2003
