On Monday, December 2, 2002, the above hearing was held at the City
Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by
Councilmember Engebretson at 7 00 p m Present: Don Knapp, Val
Vandersloot, Linda M Dolan, Gerald Taylor, Joe Laura (7.05 p m ), Maureen
Miller Brosnan and Jack Engebretson Absent: None
Council President Engebretson stated that in accordance with the
provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan 1921,
as amended, the Zoning Act (M S.A. Section 5 2934, M C L.A. 125 584), as well
as Article XXIII of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of
Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relevant to
rezoning request:
Petition 2002-07-01-11 submitted by John Carney, on behalf of Time
Warner Entertainment-Advance/Newhouse L P , requesting to rezone
property located on the west side of Farmington Road between Five Mile
Road and Lyndon Road in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 21, from R-2 to OS
(One Family Residential — 70' x 120' Lots to Office Services)
There were six (6) individuals present in the audience on this matter
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due
consideration by Council, a transcript of which is on file in the Office of the City
