TO DETERMINE WHETHER OR NOT TO AMEND ZONING ORDINANCE #543
TO AMEND ARTICLE XI, SECTION 11.03 TO PROVIDE FOR SELF STORAGE

On Monday, December 2, 2002, the above hearing was held at the City
Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by
Councilmember Engebretson at 7 28 p m Present: Don Knapp, Val
Vandersloot, Linda M Dolan, Gerald Taylor, Joe Laura, Maureen Miller Brosnan
and Jack Engebretson Absent: None
Council President Engebretson stated that in accordance with the
provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan 1921,
as amended, the Zoning Act (M S.A. Section 5.2934, M C L.A. 125 584), as well
as Article XXIII of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of
Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing to determine
whether or not to amend Zoning Ordinance #543, Article XI, Section 11 03, to
provide for self storage facilities as waiver uses in the C-2 (General Business)
Zoning District.
There were two (2) individuals present in the audience on this matter
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due
consideration, a transcript of which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
