PUBLIC HEARING RE: PETITION 00-11-2-32 SUBMITTED BY
HOOTERS OF LIVONIA, INC. REQUESTING WAIVER USE
APPROVAL TO OPERATE A FULL-SERVICE RESTAURANT
WITHIN AN EXISTING BUILDING ON PROPERTY LOCATED ON
THE SOUTH SIDE OF PLYMOUTH ROAD BETWEEN
MIDDLEBELT ROAD AND MILBURN AVENUE IN THE
NORTHWEST 1/4 OF SECTION 35

On March 28, 2001, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic
Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Council Vice President
Vandersloot at 7.20 p m. Present: John Pastor, Joe Laura, Jack Engebretson and Val
Vandersloot. Absent: John Walsh, Brian Duggan and Maureen Miller Brosnan
Council Vice President Vandersloot stated that in accordance with the provisions
set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan 1921, as amended, the
Zoning Act (M S.A. Section 5 2934, M C L.A. 125 584), as well as Article XXIII of
Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City
of Livonia is holding a public hearing to determine whether or not to approve the request
for waiver use approval to operate a full service restaurant within an existing building on
property located on the south side of Plymouth Road between Middlebelt Road and
Milburn Avenue in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 35
There were eighteen (18) persons present on this matter
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 9 49 p m , Wednesday, March 28, 2001
