PUBLIC HEARING RE: PETITION 01-01-06-01 SUBMITTED BY
THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION TO DETERMINE WHETHER
OR NOT TO AMEND SECTION 9 03 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE
SO AS TO ALLOW THE OPERATION OF PHOTOGRAPHIC
STUDIOS AS WAIVER USES IN THE OS DISTRICT [CR 160-01]
On April 30, 2001, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic
Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Councilmember Laura at
7 00 p m Present: Brian Duggan, Jack Engebretson and Joe Laura Absent: John
Walsh, John Pastor, Val Vandersloot and Maureen Miller Brosnan
Councilmember Laura stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in
Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act
(M.S.A. Section 5 2934, M.0 L.A. 125 584), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance No.
543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is
holding a public hearing to determine whether or not to approve the request to amend
Section 9 03 of the Zoning Ordinance so as to allow the operation of photographic
studios as waiver uses in the OS District (Office Services)
There were five (5) persons present on this matter
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 7 15 p m , Monday, April 30, 2001
