PUBLIC HEARING RE: PETITION 00-5-2-23 SUBMITTED BY BORMAN'S,
INC., ON BEHALF OF FARMER JACK #771, REQUESTING WAIVER USE
APPROVAL TO DISPLAY SEASONAL OUTDOOR GARDEN MATERIALS ON
PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF SEVEN MILE ROAD
BETWEEN MIDDLEBELT ROAD AND MELVIN AVENUE IN
THE NORTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 11. (CR 605-00)
On September 20, 2000, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000
Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Acting President Laura
at 7 13 p m. Present: Brian Duggan, John Pastor, Jack Engebretson and Joe Laura.
Absent: Val Vandersloot, John J Walsh and Maureen Miller Brosnan
Acting President Laura stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in
Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act
(M.S.A. Section 5.2934, M C L.A. 125 584), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance No
543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is
holding a public hearing to determine whether or not to approve the proposed waiver use
to display seasonal outdoor garden materials on property located on the South side of
Seven Mile Road between Middlebelt Road and Melvin Avenue in the Northeast 1/4 of
Section 11
There were three (3) persons present on this matter
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 7 30 p m., Wednesday, September 20,
2000
