MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING TO DETERMINE WHETHER TO APPROVE
REQUEST TO OBTAIN A SECTION 198 PROPERTY TAX ABATEMENT, BY
FORD MOTOR LAND SERVICES CORPORATION-LIVONIA TRANSMISSION
PLANT, WITH REGARD TO PROPERTY LOCATED AT 36200 PLYMOUTH
ROAD. (CR 674-00)
On October 4, 2000, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000
Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by President
Brosnan at 7.00 p m Present: John J Walsh, John Pastor, Brian Duggan, Joe
Laura, Jack Engebretson and Maureen Miller Brosnan Absent- Val Vandersloot.
President Brosnan stated that this was a public hearing on the question of
whether this City Council should approve the request to obtain a Section 198
Property Tax Abatement, by Ford Motor Land Services Corporation with regard
to the acquisition and installation of new machinery and equipment for front- and
rear-wheel drive transmissions and components located at 36200 Plymouth
Road, Livonia, Michigan
There were eleven (11) persons present on this matter
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due
consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the
City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 7 17 p m , Wednesday,
October 4, 2000
