REQUEST FOR WAIVER USE APPROVAL, SUBMITTED BY RITE AID
OF MICHIGAN, INC. (Petition 99-4-2-12), TO UTILIZE AN SDM LICENSE
WITHIN AN EXISTING RITE AID STORE LOCATED ON THE SOUTHWEST
CORNER OF SIX MILE AND INKSTER ROADS (27401 SIX MILE ROAD)
IN THE NORTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 13.
On August 11, 1999, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic
Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by President Engebretson at
7.00 p m. Present: John Walsh, John Pastor, Brian Duggan, Maureen Miller Brosnan
and Jack Engebretson. Absent: Joe Laura and Val Vandersloot.
Pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the
City of Livonia, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen(15) days
prior to the hearing date to those persons affected by the proposed change and all other
requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance have been fulfilled.
President Engebretson stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in
Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act
(M S.A. Section 5 2934, M C L.A. 125 584), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance No
543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is
holding a public hearing relevant to request for waiver use approval to utilize an SDM
license within an existing Rite Aid store located in the Northeast %of Section 13
There were four(4) persons present on these matters.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 7.27 p m , Wednesday, August 11,
1999
