MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON REZONING
On Monday, March 3, 1999, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic
Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by President Engebretson at
7 00 p m Present: Maureen Miller Brosnan, John Pastor, Brian Duggan and Jack
Engebretson Absent: John Walsh, Val Vandersloot and Joe Laura.
Pursuant to Section 23 06 of of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City
Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to
those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements
of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled
The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4
of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan 1921, as amended, the City Zoning Act (MSA
Section 5 2934, MCLA 125 584), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, as amended,
the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding
a public hearing relative to rezoning requests
Petition 98-10-1-20 by John J Wheeler, on behalf of Lawrence G and Nanette
M Prieur, requesting to rezone property located on the north side of Plymouth
Road between Chase Boulevard and Newburgh Road in the S E. % of Section
30 from RUF to R-1 (Rural Urban Farm — 1/2 Acre Lots to One Family Residential
— 60' x 120' Lots) (CR 19-99)
There were four persons present on this matter
Questions and comments were given due consideration by the Council, a
transcript of which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 7 05 p m , March 3, 1999
