MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING TO ESTABLISH AN INDUSTRIAL
DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT FOR THE LIVONIA CORPORATE CENTER
LOCATED WITHIN MILLENNIUM PARK AND TO DESIGNATE THE FIRST
TWO OF THE PROPOSED FOUR BUILDINGS TO BE CONSTRUCTED ON
THE PROPERTY "AS SPECULATIVE BUILDINGS IN UNITS" UNDER THE
PROVISION OF ACT 198
On April 12, 1999, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic
Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Vice President Walsh at 7.00
p.m Present: Joe Laura, Maureen Miller-Brosnan, Brian Duggan, and John Walsh.
Absent: Val Vandersloot, John Pastor and Jack Engebretson.
The President stated that this was a public hearing on the question of whether
this City Council should establish an Industrial Development District for the Livonia
Corporate Center within Millennium Park and to designate the first two of the proposed
four builc;ngs to be constructed on the property "as speculative buildings in units" under
the provision of Act 198 Susan M Harvey, Ashley Livonia, LLC Tom Goldberg,
Millennium Park, LLC, and John Long, Ladbroke Land Co , a Michigan corporation re
property located on the south side of Schoolcraft between Middlebelt and Inkster Roads
in the North 1/2 of Section 25
There were four(4) persons present on these matters.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 7 22 p m., Monday, April 12, 1999
