MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING
ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AN
INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT FOR
ELRING KLINGER OF NORTH AMERICA, INC.
IN THE N.E. 114 OF SECTION 29
On September 16, 1996, the above hearing was held at the City Hall,
33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the
President of the Council at 7 00 p m. Present: Val Vandersloot, Michael P
McGee, Gerald D Taylor, Brian Duggan, Fernon P Feenstra, Maureen Miller
Brosnan and Joe Laura. Absent: None
The President stated that this was a Public Hearing on the question of
whether this City Council should establish an Industrial Development District
pursuant to Act No 198 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1974, as amended,
requested by Richard M. McLaughlin, Elring Klinger of North America, Inc., re
to be located at 35951 Veronica for a new plant and equipment used in the
manufacture of automotive components
There was one person present.
Questions and comments were given due consideration by the Council, a
transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 7 10 p m , September 16, 1996
