FORD MOTOR COMPANY
LIVONIA TRANSMISSION PLANT,
FOR AN INDUSTRIAL FACILITIES EXEMPTION CERTIFICATE
CITY OF LIVONIA INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO. 1
On August 14, 1996, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center
Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by President Laura at 8 05 p m Present:
Brian Duggan, Fernon P Feenstra, Maureen Miller Brosnan, Val Vandersloot, Michael P
McGee, Gerald D Taylor and Joe Laura Absent: None
President Laura stated that this was a Public Hearing on the question of whether this
City Council should approve the Application for Industrial Facilities Exemption Certificate,
submitted by Ford Motor Company, Livonia Transmissio Plant, 36200 Plymouth Road, Livonia,
MI 48151, for$45,000,000 in machinery and equipment that produces components for new
products in future vehicles in City of Livonia Industria Development District No 1
There were approximately forty-two (42) people present.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the
Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 8 45 p m , August 14, 1996
