MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PETITION 96-4-2-14
WAIVER USE)
On July 24, 1996, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic
Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council
at 7.00 p m Present: Brian Duggan, Femon P Feenstra, Maureen Miller Brosnan, Val
Vandersloot, Michael P McGee and Joe Laura. Absent: None
The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No 543, the
Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, and likewise pursuant to Notice of Public
Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with said Ordinance
No 543, the City Council is opening a public hearing relative to Petition 96-4-2-14 by
Walkon & Associates requesting waiver use approval to construct a 20-screen movie
theater on property located north of Seven Mile Road between Haggerty Road and the
1-275 Expressway in the S W 1/4 of Section 6
There were approximately 200 persons present.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 11 35 p m., July 24, 1996
