HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1995-12-06 PETITION 1995-07-01-15 29195 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON REZONING On December 6, 1995, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by President Taylor at 9 06 p m Present: Fernon P Feenstra, Sean P Kavanagh, Maureen Miller Brosnan and Michael P Taylor Absent: Laura M Toy, Dale A Jurcisin and Gerald D Taylor Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M S.A. Section 5 2934, M C L.A 125 584), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change of the Zoning Ordinance Petition 95-7-1-15 by the City Planning Commission proposing to rezone property located on the southeast corner of Plymouth Road and Laurel Avenue in the N W 1/4 of Section 33 from C-1 (Local Business) to C-2 (General Business) Petition 95-7-1-16 by the City Planning Commission proposing to rezone property located north of Plymouth Road between Hartel Avenue and Middlebelt Road in the S W 1/4 of Section 25 from C-2 (General Business) to R-1 (One Family Residential - 60' X 120' Lots) Petition 95-8-1-18 by Robert Goldman for Edward and Mary Jo Olschanski requesting to rezone property located on the west side of Inkster Road between Six Mile Road and Whitcomb Drive in the N E. 1/4 of Section 13 from R-2 (One Family Residential - 70' X 120' Lots) to C-1 (Local Business) 29196 There were approximately fifty (50) persons present. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
