HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1995-04-03 PETITION 1994-`2-01-26 28740 iss MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITION On April 3, 1995, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 8 12 p m Present Fernon P Feenstra, Michael P McGee, Maureen Miller Brosnan, Laura M Toy, Dale A Jurcisin and Gerald D Taylor Absent None Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M S A Section 5 2934; M C L A 125 584) , as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change of the Zoning Ordinance Petition 94-12-1-26 by Las Brisas Development Company and Perpich- Murninghan Venture requesting to rezone property located on the north side of Five Mile Road between Garden Avenue and Harrison Avenue in the S E 1/4 of Section 13 of RUF to R-7 (Rural Urban Farm - 1/2 Acre Lots to Multiple Family Residential) Petition 94-12-1-24 by the City Planning Commission proposing to rezone property located south of Plymouth Road between Farmington and Stark Roads in the N E 1/4 of Section 33 from RUF to R-1A (Rural Urban Farm - 1/2 Acre Lots to One Family Residential - 60' X 120' Lots) Petition 94-12-1-27 by Philip Barth requesting to rezone property located south of Schoolcraft and west of Farmington Road in the N E 1/4 of Section 28 from M-1 to C-2 (Light Manufacturing to General Business) There were six (6) persons present 28741 I_ Questions and comments from interested persons were given due considera- tion by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk The Public Hearing was declared closed at 9 00 p m , April 3, 1995 jig , Jill McCCITTER, CITY CLERK OP Illo ifts
