Meeting Minutes

Steve Spreitzer, Michigan Roundtable for Diversity and
Inclusion
Chairperson Breen called the meeting to order at 6 10 p m
Motion by J Roye and seconded by E Livingway to approve agenda as presented
Motion carried
Motion by J Roye and seconded by E Livingway to approve minutes of November 12,
2014 meeting as presented Motion carried
Chairpersons Report:
John Dalton has resigned from the Commission because of relocation out-of-state
The project to provide Senior Boxes to Livonia residents was referred to the Livonia
Police Department and Livonia Fire Department for a report and recommendation
Guest Speakers
Steve Spreitzer, President and CEO of Michigan Roundtable for Diversity and Inclusion
gave history and purpose of organization, discussed programs and activities performed
by Roundtable and offered to partner with Commission on ideas for future events to
promote equal opportunities for all
Lt Tom Goralski, Livonia Police Department, discussed the police department's efforts
to promote racial sensitivity
