MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITION
On March 13, 1991, the above hearing was held at the City
Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called
to order by the Vice President of the Council at 7:36 P.M.
Present: Laura Toy, Robert R. Bishop, Gerald Taylor, Ron Ochala,
Fernon P. Feenstra and Dale Jurcisin. Absent: Joan McCotter
(attending Livonia's First Citizen honors)
Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning
Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices
fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the
area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of
Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled.
The Vice President stated that in accordance with the provi-
sions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of
Michigan 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M S A Section 5 2934;
M C L A 125.584), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the
Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of
Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a
change of the Zoning Ordinance
Petition 90-11-1-30 by ACO Development for D. S. Nair request-
ing to rezone property located on the east side of Newburgh Road
north of Seven Mile Road in the S W. 1/4 of Section 4 from RUFB to
R-3 (Rural Urban Farm - 1/2 acre lots to One Family Residential -
80' X 120' lots)
Petition 90-11-1-31 by Dominic Soave requesting to rezone
property located on the east side of Newburgh Road north of Seven
Mile Road in the S W 1/4 of Section 5 from RUFC to C-2 (Rural
Urban Farm - 1/2 acre lots to Local Business)
Petition 90-11-1-33 by the City Planning Commission to rezone
property located on the south side of Five Mile Road west of Levan
in the N W 1/4 of Section 20 from PO-I to RUF (High Rise Profes-
sional Office - 6 Stories to Rural Urban Farm - 1/2 acre lots)

Petition 90-12-6-10 by the City Planning Commission to deter-
mine whether or not to amend Section 5 03 of Zoning Ordinance #543
so as to add day care nursery facilities as a waiver use in the
RUF (Rural Urban Farm) district regulations.
There were approximately seventy-five people present.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due
consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in
the office of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 9:28 P.M. , March
13, 1991.
