MINUTES OF THE TWO HUNDRED AND TWELFTH SPECIAL MEETING
OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LIVONIA
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 8, Chapter 14 of the City Charter,
the above meeting was held January 21, 1991 at the City Hall , 33000 Civic Center
Drive, Livonia, Michigan and was called to order by the President of the Council
at approximately 7 45 P M Roll was called with the following result Present
Laura Toy, Robert R Bishop, Gerald Taylor, Dale Jurcisin, Ron Ochala, Fernon P
Feenstra and Joan McCotter, Absent None
Elected and appointed officials present Robert F Nash, City Clerk,
Cathryn K White, Assistant City Attorney, David Preston, Finance Director, John
Fegan, Director of Inspection, Lee B Grieve, Police Chief and Ron Reinke,
Superintendent of the Parks and Recreation
On a motion by Councilman Bishop, seconded by Councilwoman Toy,
limo and unanimously adopted, it was
#54-91 RESOLVED, that having considered a letter from the
Michigan Liquor Control Commission, dated August 29, 1990 and
the report and recommendation of the Chief of Police, dated
December 18, 1990, the Council does hereby approve of the request
from Cary William Levy and Alan Stotsky, stockholders in Stotsky
Assets 101 , Inc , to transfer ownership of 1990 SDD-SDM licensed
business from Royal Fairlane Drugs, Inc. for a business located
at 37290 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan 48154, Wayne County,
with the additional conditions that the color of the window
film to be installed at the business be compatible with the
exterior of the building and that the signage on the windows
shall not exceed 25% of the window area, and the City Clerk
is hereby requested to forward a certified copy of this resolution
to the Michigan Liquor Control Commission.
On a motion by Councilman Jurcisin, seconded by Councilman Ochala, and
unanimously adopted, this 212th Special Meeting of the Council of the City of Livonia
was duly adjourned at 7.50 P.M. , January 21 , 1991 .
