MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS
On April 23, 1990, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000
Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by President
McCotter at 7:02 p.m Present: Joan McCotter, Laura Toy, Gerald Taylor, Ron
Ochala, Dale Jurcisin and Fernon P Feenstra (arrived at 7:30 P M. )
Absent: Robert R. Bishop.
Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance,
the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior
to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed
change and all other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning
Ordinance, have been fulfilled.
The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth
in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended,
the City Zoning Act, (MSA 5.2934; MCLA 125.548), as well as Article XXIII of
Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of
INN the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a
change of the Zoning Ordinance.
Petition 90-1-1-3, submitted by Southwood Construction Company for
Alexander Spiro for a change of zoning on property located on the west side
of Harrison Avenue, north of Five Mile Road in the Southwest 1/4 of Section
13, from R-9I and P S to R-C, (Housing for elderly-4 stories and
Professional Service to Condominium Residential)
There were approximately 38 people present
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due
consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the
Office of the City Clerk
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 8 15 P M , April 23, 1990
