On February 26, 1990, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Councilman Bishop at 8: 16 p.m. Present: Laura Toy, Robert R. Bishop, Gerald Taylor, Ron Ochala (arrived at 8:10 p.m. ) and Fernon P. Feenstra. Absent: Joan McCotter and Dale Jurcisin. Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled. The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the City Zoning Act, (MSA 5.2934; MCLA 125.548) , as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change of the Zoning Ordinance. imiPetition 89-6-1-23, submitted by Rissman Investment Company for a change of zoning on property located on the south side of Ann Arbor Trail and Hix Road in the •theast 1/4 of Section 31, from C-1 to C-2, (Local Business to General Bu. s) . petition 89-10-1-30, submitted by the City Planning Commission for a change of zoning on property located south of Plymouth Road between Levan Road and Yale Avenue in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 32, from RUF and C-2 to R-1, (Rural Urban Farm and General Business to One Family Residential) . Petition 89-10-1-3k, submitted by the City Planning Commission for a change of zoning on property located south of Eight Mile Road between Purlingbrook and Middlebelt Roads in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 2, from M-1 to R-2, (Light Manufacturing to One Family Residential) . Petition 89-10-1-32, submitted by Alan Mendelssohn for a change of zoning on property located on the south side of Plymouth Road, west of Farmington Road, in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 33, from R-9 to C-2, (Housing for the Elderly to General Business) . There were approximately 23 people present.
