MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED BUDGET
FOR THE PERIOD BEGINNING DECEMBER 1 , 1989 TO
NOVEMBER 30 , 1990
AND THE TRUTH IN TAXATION
Pursuant to Section 4 and 5 , Chapter VII of the Charter of
the City of Livonia, and Act 5 of 1982 , a public hearing was
held on October 10 , 1989 at 8 : 05 p.m. at the Livonia City Hall,
33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan on the proposed
annual budget of the City of Livonia for the year commencing
December 1 , 1989 and ending November 30 , 1990 , and the Truth in
Taxation. Present: Fernon P. Feenstra, Joan McCotter, Laura
Toy, Robert R. Bishop, Gerald Taylor and Dale Jurcisin and Ron
Ochala.
The City Clerk presented to the council satisfactory
ir evidence that proper notice of this public hearing had been
duly published at least one week in advance of such hearing by
the City Clerk in the Livonia Observer, the official newspaper
of the City, and the provisions of the City Charter have been
complied with.
There were approximately 18 people present.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given
due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on
file in the office of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 8: 55 p.m. ,
October 10 , 1989 .
