MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS
On April 17, 1989 , the above hearing was held at the City
Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called
to order by the President of the Council at 7 : 07 p.m. Present:
Fernon P. Feenstra, *Laura Toy, Robert R. Bishop, Gerald Taylor,
Ron Ochala and Dale Jurcisin. Absent: Joan McCotter.
Councilwoman Toy arrived at 7 : 15 p.m.
Pursuant to Section 23 . 06 of Ordinance No. 543 , the Zoning
Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices
fifteen ( 15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in
the area affected by the proposed change and all other require-
ments of Ordinance No. 543 , the Zoning Ordinance, have been
fulfilled.
The President stated that in accordance with the provisions
set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan
of 1921, as amended, the City Zoning Act, (MSA 5. 2934; MCLA
im 125 . 548) , as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543 , the Zoning
Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of
Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a
change of the Zoning Ordinance.
Petition 88-12-1-37 , submitted by Milwaukee
Investment Company, for a change of zoning on property
located on the east side of Middlebelt Road between Six
Mile Road and Pickford Avenue in the Southwest 1/4 of
Section 12, from RUF to P.S. (Rural Urban Farm - One
Family Residential to Professional Service) .
There were approximately 9 people present.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given
due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on
file in the office of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 7: 32 p.m. , April
17, 1989.
