MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS
On June 1, 1987, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000
�mw Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the Vice
President of the Council at 8 05 p m. Present Gerald Taylor, Joan
McCotter, Fernon P. Feenstra, Robert R Bishop, Ron 8cbala, Absent:
Robert D. McCann, Robert D. Bennett
Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance,
the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days
prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the
proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning
Ordinance, have been fulfilled.
The President stated that in accordance wiht the provisions set forth
in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended,
the Zoning Act (MSA 5.2934;MCLA 125,584) , as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance
No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City
of Livonia is holdinga public hearing relative to a request for a change of the
zoning Ordinance.
Petition 87-1-1-1, as amended, submitted by Thomas Goebel for a change
of zoning of property located on the southwest corner of Seven Mile Road and
Harrison Avenue in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 12 from RUF to R-1 and P.S
(Rural Urban Farm - One Family Residential to One Family Residential and
Professional Service)
Petition 87-1-1-2, submitted by B. Boland Adams for a change of zoning
of property located on the north side of Schoolcraft Service Drive, west of
Richfield in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 19, from R-1 to P.S (One Family
Residential to Professional Service) .
Petition 87-1-1-3, submitted by Theodore and Diane Manolakas for a change
of zoning of property located south of Plymouth Road, west of Farmington
Road in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 33 from RUF to P (Rural Urban Farm - One
Family Residential to Parking)
Petition 87-1-1-6, submitted by Dominic Soave for a change of zoning
of property located on the south side of Eight Mile Road between Middlebelt
and Brentwood in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 1 from P.S. to C-2 (Professional
0 Service to General Business) .

Petition 87-2-1-7, submitted by Dr Lawrence Singer for a change of
zoning of property located on the southeast corner of Seven Mile Road and
Brentwood in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 12 from RUF to P S (Rural Urban
Farm - One Family Residential to Professional Service)
There were approximately 25 people present
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City
Clerk.
The public hearing was declared closed at 9 07 p m , June 1, 1987
