MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS
On February 18, 1987, the above hearing was held at the City Hall,
� 33080 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by
the President of the Council at 8 00 p m Present Robert E. McCann,
Joan McCotter, Fernon P Feenstra, Robert R. Bishop, Gerald Taylor and
Robert D. Bennett Absent Ron Ochala.
Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance,
the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen days prior to
the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change
and all other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance have
been fulfilled
The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth
in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended,
the Zoning Act (MSA 5 2934,MCLA 125 584) , as well as Article XXIII of
Ordinance 543, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing
relative to a request for a change of the Zoning Ordioaoce,
Petition 86-11-1-46, submitted by Gerald Borregard for a change of
zoning of property located on the east and west sides of Oporto, south of
Six Mile Road in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 14 from RUFA & R-5 to P S
(Rural Urban Farm - One Family Residential and One Family Residential to
Professional Service )
Petition 86-11-1-47, submitted by Pamela J. Bacon for a change of
zoning of property located on the west side of Farmington Road between
Oakdale and Myrna Avenues in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 16 from P S
to R-3 (Professional Service to One Family Residential.)
Petition 86-18-6-3, submitted by the City Planning Commission to
amend Sections 25 07 and 26.07 of Zoning Ordinance No 543 by incor-
porating language ergarding the regulation of walls for high-rise
buildings.
There were approximately twenty people present.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due
consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the

office of the City Clerk.
The public hearing was declared closed at 8 45 p.m' , February 18, 1987.
