MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PETITION NO. 84-8-2-29 (Waiver Use)
On November 14, 1984, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000
Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan and was called to order by the President of
the Council at 7.04 P.M. Present: Robert R Bishop, Robert E McCann, Alice
Gundersen, Gerald Taylor, Robert D Bennett and. Peter A. Ventura. Absent.

The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No
543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia and likewise pursuant to Notice
of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with
said Ordinance No 543, the City Council is opening a public hearing relative to
a use permit submitted by Giuseppe Mainella requesting waiver use approval for an
SDM License to be used in connection with an existing business located within the
Merri-Five Shopping Center located on the northeast corner of Five Mile Road and
Merriman Road in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 14, City of Livonia
There were approximately seven people present.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due considera-
tion by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City
Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 7.16 P.M., November 14, 1984
