MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY FOR THE IMPROVEMENT
OF PAVING ALLEYS LOCATED WEST OF MIDDLEBELT, SOUTH OF DOVER, NORTH OF
JOY BETWEEN MIDDT.EBELT AND FREMONT WITH FULL DEPTH ASPHALT TO THE WIDTH
OF THE EXISTING GRAVEL ROADWAYS (APPROXIMATELY 20 FEET) IN THE SOUTHEAST
1/4 OF SECTION 25
On January 9, 1984, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000
Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President
of the Council at 9 36 P.M Present Robert R Bishop, Fernon P Feenstra,
Alice Gundersen, Gerald Taylor, Robert D Bennett and Mer A Ventura Absent
Robert E. McCann
The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No
401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public
Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special
Assessment Procedure, " the City Council is opening a public hearing on the
necessity for the street improvement of paving alleys located west of Middlebelt,
116, south of Dover, North of Joy between Middlebelt and Fremont in the Southeast 1/4
of Section 35, City of Livonia
There were approximately thirty people present
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consider-
ation by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the
City Clerk
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 9 45 P.M , January 9, 198+
