MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED USE REPORT AND BUDGET IN
CONNECTION WITH GENERAL REVENUE SHARING FUNDS AND TRUTH AND TAXATION
On October 17, 1983, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000
Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President
of the Council at 7 07 P.M. Present: Robert E McCann, Gerald Taylor, Fernon P
Feenstra, Alice Gundersen, Robert R. Bishop and Robert D. Bennett Absent:
Peter A. Ventura.
The President stated that in accordance with the provisions of the Federal
Revenue Sharing Act of 1972 as amended by the amendments of 1976 and likewise
pursuant to Notice of Public Hearing duly published, the City Council is opening
a public hearing relative to the proposed use report and budget in connection
Imw with general revenue sharing funds and Truth in Taxation.
There were approximately one hundred people present.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due considera-
tion by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City
Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 8:25 P.M., October 17,
1983.
