Imo MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS
On January 11, 1982, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000
Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of
the Council at 8 32 P. M Present Robert E. McCann, Gerald Taylor, Fernon
Feenstra, Alice Gundersen, Robert R Bishop, Robert D. Bennett and Peter A Ventura.
Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the
City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the
hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all
other requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled.
The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in
Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the Zoning
Act (M S.A. Section 5 293 .), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning
Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a
public hearing relative to a request for a change in the Zoning Ordinance
Petition No 81-9-1-20, submitted by Farley Building Company, Inc for a
change of zoning of property located on the east side of Middlebelt between Clarita
and Pickford in the Northwest l/4 of Section 12, from RUF to C-2 (Rural Urban Farms
to General Business).
Petition No. 81-7-6-6 submitted by the City Planning Commission to amend
Section 2.10 and 11 02, and Article XVIII by adding Section 18 59 of Zoning Ordinance
#543, to incorporate regulations relating to mechanical and electronic amusement
devices.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 10.08 P. M , January 11, 1982
