HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1980-09-22 PETITION 1980-07-01-24 18887 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS On September 22, 1980, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 8 05 P. M. Present Robert D. Bennett, Robert F. Nash, Gerald Taylor, Alice Gundersen, Robert R. Bishop and Robert E. McCann. Absent. Peter A. Ventura. Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled. The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M.S.A. Section 5.2934), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change in the Zoning Ordinance. Petition No. 80-7-1-24 submitted by Kenneth R. Warren for a change of zoning of property located on the south side of Amrhein, west of Newburgh Road, in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 30, from RUF to ML (Rural Urban Farm to Manufacturing Limited). Petition No. 80-6-1-19 submitted by the City Planning Commission for a change of zoning of property located on the north side of Five Mile Road, east of Cavour, in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 13, from RUF to R-7 (Rural Urban Farm to Multiple Family Residential). Petition No. 80-6-1-20 submitted by L & H Associates for a change of zoning of property located on the east side of Stark Road, north of Plymouth Road, in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 28, from R-1 to P (One Family Residential to Parking). Petition No. 80-6-6-8 initiated by Council Resolution 363-80, to amend Section 11.03 of Ordinance No. 543, the City of Livonia Zoning Ordinance, to require waiver use approval for SDM Licensed Establishments in C-2 Zoning Districts.
