MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PETITION NO. 79-9-2-22 (Waiver Use)

On December 3, 1979, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000
Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President
of the Council at 7 51 P. M. Present Robert E. McCann, Robert F. Nash, Gerald
Taylor, Jerry Raymond, Robert D. Bennett and Robert R. Bishop. Absent Peter
A. Ventura.
The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No.
543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, and likewise pursuant to Notice
of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with
said Ordinance No. 543, the City Council is opening a public hearing relative to
an appeal with regard to Petition 79-9-2-22 submitted by Dr. Stephen Selfon
requesting waiver use approval to locate a veterinary clinic within an existing
building on property zoned C-1 and located on east side of Middlebelt Road between
Six and Seven Mile Roads in N.W. 1/4 of Section 12, City of Livonia.
There were approximately twenty-five people present.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of theCity Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 8 10 P. M., December 3, 1979.
