MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PETITION NO 79-12-2-31 (Waiver Use)
On February 25, 1980, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000
Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President
of the Council at 9 05 P M Present Robert D Bennett, Robert F Nash,
Gerald D Taylor and Robert R Bishop Absent Alice Gundersen, Robert E McCann,
and Peter A Ventura
The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No.
543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, and likewise pursuant to Notice
of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with
said Ordinance No 543, the City Council is opening a public hearing relative to
a use permit submitted by Wendy's International Inc , requesting permission to
construct a restaurant as a waiver use on property zoned C-2 and located on the
north side of Plymouth Road, west of Merriman Road, in Section 27, City of
Livonia.
There were approximately fifteen people present
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 9 19 P M , February 25, 1980
