MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY FOR THE IMPROVEMENT
OF ST. MARTINS AVENUE FROM PURLINGBROOK TO LIVONIA MALL
SHOPPING CENTER IN SOUTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 2
On July 23, 1979, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001
Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of
the Council at 7.00 P. M. Present Robert E. McCann, Robert F. Nash, Gerald
Taylor, Jerry Raymond, Peter A. Ventura. Absent--Robert D. Bennett and Robert R.
Bishop.
The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401,
as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements,
Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment
Procedure, " the City Council is opening a public hearing on the necessity for the
improvement of St. Martins Avenue from Purlingbrook to Livonia Mall Shopping
Center, in the S. E. 1/4 of Section 2, T. 1 S., R. 9 E., City of Livonia.
There were approximately fifty people present.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 7 32 P. M., July 23, 1979.
