MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY FOR THE IMPROVEMENT
OF CURTIS AVENUE BETWEEN MELVIN AND THE
COOLIDGE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN SECTION 11
On February 27, 1978, the above hearing was held at the City Hall,
33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the Vice President
of the Council at 9:11 P M Present: Robert D Bennett, Robert R Bishop, Peter A
Ventura, Robert F. Nash, Jerry Brown and Jerry Raymond. Absent Robert E McCann.
The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401,
as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements,
Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure,"
the City Council is opening a public hearing on the necessity for the improvement of
Curtis Avenue between Melvin and the Coolidge Elementary School in Section 11, City
111. of Livonia.
There were seventy-five people present
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 9.3o P M , February 27, 1978
