MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR THE
ROAD IMPROVEMENT OF CARDWELL AVENUE BETWEEN JOY ROAD AND
Ifte WEST CHICAGO IN SECTION 36
On October 23, 1978, the above hearing was held at the City Hall,
33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President
of the Council at 8 14 P. M Present Robert E McCann, Robert F Nash, Gerald
D. Taylor, Jerry Raymond, Robert R Bishop and Peter A. Ventura Absent Robert
D Bennett
The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401,
as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements,
Defraying the Expense Thereof by Sepcial Assessment and a Special Assessment
Procedure," the City Council is opening a public hearing on the Assessment Roll
for a 31-foot wide full-depth asphalt pavement with concrete curbs and gutters
(Alternate II) on Cardwell Avenue between Joy Road and West Chicago in the South-
east 1/4 of Section 36, City of Livonia, Michigan.
There were approximately thirty people present
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 9 07 P. M , October 23, 1978.
