HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1977-01-17 PETITION 1976-09-01-31 16073 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS On January 17, 1977, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 9 00 P M Present: Robert E McCann, Robert F Nash, Jerry H Brown, Jerry Raymond, Robert R Bishop and Robert D Bennett. Absent. Peter A Ventura Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No 5L13, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled. The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M S A. Section 5 293 -), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change in the Zoning Ordinance. Petition No 76-9-1-31, submitted by Dale Investment Company, for a change of zoning of property located on the east side of Middlebelt between Clarita and Pickford in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 12, from C-1 to C-2, (Local Business to General Business) Petition No 76-9-1-32, submitted by Helen A Lord, for a change of zoning of property located on the east side of Stark Road, north of Richland in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 33, from RUF to R-1, (Rural Urban Farm to One Family Residential) 1607+ MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS (Continued) Petition No 76-10-1-39 submitted by Diehl & Diehl, Architects, Inc. , in behalf of the Archdiocese of Detroit for St Edith's Parish, for a change of zoning of property located south of Five Mile Road between Blue Skies and Newburgh Road in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 19, from R-1 to R-6, (One Family Residential to Two Family Residential) Petition No 76-10-1-40, submitted by R Ajluni, M D , for a change of zoning of property located south of Curtis and east of Farmington Road in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 10, from RUFC to P S , (Rural Urban Farm to Professional Service) The Public Hearing was declared closed at 10:55 P M , January 17, 1977 ADDISON W.
